Last year, I worked with some awesome clients through Homepolish. This couple wanted to update their tired kitchen and dining nook without breaking the bank. I wanted to make the space feel fresh and clean by brining modern furniture and hardware into the space, reupholstering their existing banquette, and of course painting everything a fresh white bright!
For this project, we used Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace on the cabinetry and trim. I also extended the countertop to create an area for stools, and squared it off on the end to create a space for the microwave. The banquette is recovered in an indoor-outdoor fabric and the Eames dining chairs are not only comfortable but easy to clean!
I love the way this space came together… it looks so much cleaner and more modern. By keeping the existing cabinetry and dining table, the client was able to keep costs down, and still get a the modern kitchen to suit their lifestyle.
